Course cost: | $225.00 each participant, with five student minimum |
Course Length: | Eleven to thirteen hours, class and range time. |

the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to conduct the NRA
Basic Shotgun Shooting Course. |

What to bring: |
A safe attitude; a desire to learn, an open mind, writing materials; Your Basic Instructor Training Certificate; Your NRA instructors Guide; Your shotgun and 100 rounds of ammunition (I recommend a 20 gauge semi-auto shotgun -- or see below); Your shotgun cleaning kit; Snap caps for your shotgun; all other NRA course completion certificates you hold, NRA membership number. |
What I will provide: |
NRA Basic Shotgun Shooting Course Outline and Lesson Plan; NRA Basics of Shotgun Shooting Handbook; three-ring binders, various learning and training aids; multiple handouts, Enthusiasm and a safe learning environment. I can provide shotguns and ammunition if you need me too. This will add $35.00 to the course costs, $5.00 for the gun and $30.00 for 100 shotshells. |
NOTE: | This is not an easy class to complete. You must exhibit safety at all times, be familiar with various types of shotguns and be able to shoot reasonably well (At least one round of shooting must have a 50% minimum score). Your attitude and participation will determine whether or not Carol or I sign your application for certification as an NRA Shotgun Instructor. |
